It is available as a tablet, capsule and syrup taken orally, on an empty stomach (at least 1 hr before or 2 hr after meals).
Store at 20-25°C. Protect from light, moisture and excessive heat.

Absorption of minocycline reduced by antacids. Minocycline possibly enhance anticoagulant effect of coumarins. Minocycline possibly enhance anticoagulant effect of phenindione. Absorption of minocycline reduced by oral iron , also absorption of oral iron reduced by minocycline. Absorption of tetracyclines reduced by sucralfate. Minocycline that do not induce liver enzymes possibly reduce contraceptive effect of oestrogens. Absorption of minocycline reduced by tripotassium dicitratobismuthate.
