Drug Dose Information

Oral
Adult and child- 11 mg/kg body weight daily in three divided doses on the first day. Thereafter increase gradually to 6 mg/kg body weight given after food daily for two to three days. Hookworm infection: treat for 21 days. 

Filariasis: 2 mg/kg body weight is given three times a day for 3 to 4 weeks. 1 mg/kg body weight for an adult of 50 kg. Treatment may be repeated once after 6 months.
