The antidepressant effect of dothiepin is reduced by barbiturates. This drug reduces hypotensive activity of bethanidine, guanethidine. There is a risk of ventricular arrhythmias when the drug is used with drugs that prolong QT interval. Dosulepin can potentiate catecholamines,sympathomimetics, narcotics and alcohol.
