It is available as a tablet and as a disintegrating tablet taken orally. It is usually taken once a day at bedtime, with or without food.
Oral: Store it at 15-30°C. Protect from light and moisture.
Hypersensitivity.
Bronchitis : Bronchitis is an inflammation of the mucous membranes of the bronchi (the larger and medium-sized airways that carry airflow from the trachea into the more distal parts of the lung parenchyma) Treatment Conventional treatment for acute bronchitis may consist of simple measures such as getting plenty of rest, drinking lots of fluids, avoiding smoke and fumes, and possibly getting a prescription for an inhaled bronchodilator and/or cough syrup. In some cases of chronic bronchitis, oral steroids to reduce inflammation and/or supplemental oxygen may be necessary.
Potentiation of sedative effects with alcohol or benzodiazepines. Increased plasma levels with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors Reduced plasma levels with carbamazepine and other inducers of CYP3A4. Increased bioavailability with cimetidine. Potentially Fatal: Do not use with or within 2 wk of stopping an MAOI; at least 1 week should elapse between discontinuing mirtazapine and initiating any drug which may provoke a serious reaction (e.g. phenelzine).
