Anticoagulants (eg, warfarin), heparin, methotrexate, or nondepolarizing muscle relaxants (eg, vecuronium) because the risk of their side effects may be increased by piperacillin/tazobactam. Aminoglycosides (eg, tobramycin) or oral contraceptives (birth control pills) because their effectiveness may be decreased by piperacillin/tazobactam.
