Angina : Definition: Angina is chest pain or discomfort that occurs when an area of the heart is deprived of oxygen. Telmisartan can increase blood concentrations of digoxin and lithium. Combining telmisartan with potassium-sparing diuretics. Potassium supplements, or salt substitutes containing potassium may lead to hyperkalemia. Combining telmisartan with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in patients who are elderly, or with poor kidney function may result in reduced kidney function, including kidney failure . These effects usually are reversible.
