Antacids: Cefdinir rate and extent of absorption is reduced in presence of antacid. Probenecid: It inhibits renal excretion of cefdinir and may prolong plasma levels by competitively inhibiting renal tubular secretion. Iron: Concomitant administration of cefdinir with therapeutic iron supplement reduces absorption. Loop diuretics: Risk of nephrotoxicity may be increased.
