Avoid concomitant use with amprenavir, clarithromycin, erythromycin, indinavir, itraconazole, ketoconazole, lopinavir, nelfinavir, ritonavir, saquinavir. Increased risk of antimuscarinic side-effects when tolterodine given with amantadine. Increased risk of antimuscarinic side-effects when tolterodine given with tricyclics. Possibly increased antimuscarinic side-effects when tolterodine given with tricyclic-related antidepressants. Increased risk of antimuscarinic side-effects when tolterodine given with antihistamines. Tolterodine possibly reduce absorption of levodopa. Increased risk of antimuscarinic side-effects when tolterodine given with MAOIs. Tolterodine reduce absorption of ketoconazole. Tolterodine antagonise effects of metoclopramide on gastro-intestinal activity. Tolterodine possibly reduce effects of sublingual tablets of nitrates (failure to dissolve under tongue owing to dry mouth).
